Comparison of Ensemble Methods for Detecting Hoax News

The spread of hoaxes in Indonesia has become a big concern for the public, especially now that COVID-19 virus pandemic is hitting whole world. Due to large number people who believe hoax news regarding vaccination on social media, many refuse carry out as form government effort dealing with this pandemic. Therefore, need be wiser when reading networks. To help public not read hoaxes, it necessary classify vaccine hoax. This study builds system vaccine. model was built using ensemble method by comparing Random Forest and AdaBoost algorithms choose good classification detecting hoaxes. In research, there are use two test scenarios. first scenario an experiment algorithm second Adoboost method. experimental results show produces accuracy value random forest 93.58%.
